Oséas Falcão came out of the goal and Amadeu Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Negri having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Golbagoli Futebol Clube's zone, Antônio Carlos Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Negri came out of the goal and Antônio Carlos Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zacarias Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Lago got free with Oséas Falcão in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Gustavo Ferreira made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Washington Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséas Falcão. Dragons Ballers F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The Dragons Ballers F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséas Falcão should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zacarias Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golbagoli Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golbagoli Futebol Clube's goalkeeper José Vítor Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 87 minutes of play, Golbagoli Futebol Clube's Washington Lago made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oséas Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92ndth minute of the game Washington Lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons Ballers F.C.'s Oséas Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Golbagoli Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
