Túlio Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Moura in the 4th minute of the match. Arlindo Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Jacinto having to interfere. Túlio Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Willian Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Túlio Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Pompeo's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Moura came free, but Túlio Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Peixoto in the 26th minute of play forced Pompeo's goalkeeper Túlio Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Peixoto in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elói Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Túlio Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Manoel Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Peixoto in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes in the game, Arlindo Cerezo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oscar Jacinto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pompeo's zone, Manoel Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Nóbrega came out of the goal and Manoel Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manoel Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Cerezo made a kick off. When Manoel Moura fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conquix F.C's protests and gave Manoel Moura a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pompeo booed when Conquix F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Conquix F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Rosado came free, but Oscar Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elói Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Manoel Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Túlio Nóbrega made a huge save. Túlio Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Rosado in the 74th minute of play. Túlio Nóbrega didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Elói Peixoto had several of the Pompeo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Túlio Nóbrega as he didn't even see the shot coming. João Carlos Domingues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Jacinto. Conquix F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Conquix F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pompeo.
