With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Jaborandi EC's Eliézer Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Peixoto in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Vander saved Furo Olho Mesmo from getting behind. Eliézer Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Jaborandi EC's goalkeeper Thiago Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Varela. If Glauco Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Furo Olho Mesmo's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Brodel came free, but Nuno Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glauco Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Glauco Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nuno Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Juninho Zilles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Glauco Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Vander having to make a save. The Furo Olho Mesmo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jaborandi EC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glauco Peixoto was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Furo Olho Mesmo defense, Glauco Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Vander. The Furo Olho Mesmo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Vander should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Furo Olho Mesmo's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Pirani came free, but Nuno Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Furo Olho Mesmo's goalkeeper Nuno Vander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Brodel. Thiago Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Motta in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Samuca Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furo Olho Mesmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glauco Peixoto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 88th playminute. Vladimir Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Nuno Vander made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Vladimir Brodel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Furo Olho Mesmo's Nuno Vander. Nuno Vander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Jaborandi EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Furo Olho Mesmo.
