The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, SER GUARANI SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Valadares to maneuver through the defense. If Lino Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SER GUARANI SC's Cacá Pena in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cristais AD's goalie prevented a goal. Lino Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacá Pena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo de Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Pena got free with Leopoldo de Toledo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 20 in the game by Cacá Pena from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo de Toledo managed to make a qualified save. Cristais AD's players were relieved. In the 26th minute, Ricardo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SER GUARANI SC's Cacá Pena in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cristais AD's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to SER GUARANI SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lajos Szatmári hit a great ball. Edward Grucza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo de Toledo came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Grucza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Cacá Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo de Toledo having to interfere. Cacá Pena struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Leopoldo de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SER GUARANI SC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Pena in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Pena in the 58th minute of the match. Leopoldo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes SER GUARANI SC got a freekick which was hit by Antonij Živkovski. The long shot by Ricardo Mendonça in the 68th minute really tested Afonsinho Rosado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Rubens Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SER GUARANI SC's Cacá Pena in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cristais AD's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cacá Pena in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo de Toledo saved Cristais AD from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cristais AD's zone, Lino Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo de Toledo came out of the goal and Lino Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cacá Pena might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Pena ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Cristais AD's zone, Rodriguinho Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo de Toledo came out of the goal and Rodriguinho Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute of the match Ricardo Mendonça shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonsinho Rosado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leopoldo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Pena in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cacá Pena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo de Toledo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. SER GUARANI SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
