One couldn't see Artur da Mata behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 5th minute Manoel Garcia suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Antônio Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Roger Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Antônio Batista made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Urubucu's Rafael de Andrade tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Aparecido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Pedrão Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gallinhos and the Urubucu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Pedrão Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gallinhos's Roger Dias managed to work through Urubucu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Roger Dias dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Tales Magalhães hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gallinhos's Antônio Batista fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Aparecido got free with Almir Veloso in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Urubucu's Zé Roberto Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Urubucu booed when Gallinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael de Andrade having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 48th minute when Roger Dias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Roberto Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roger Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rafael de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes in the game, Roger Dias fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rafael de Andrade having to interfere. Antônio Batista scored 1-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Diass short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Rafael de Andrade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Gallinhos's Rafael de Andrade threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armindo Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bernardinho Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Veloso having to interfere. Zé Roberto Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Almir Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rafael de Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Gallinhos's Roger Dias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Antônio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael de Andrade having to interfere. Armindo Barbosa's late challenge caught a Urubucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armindo Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gallinhos's Armindo Barbosa got a free kick in the 85th minute. Urubucu's Rafael de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Urubucu from getting a goal against them. Antônio Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rafael de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Urubucu's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Batista came free, but Rafael de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gallinhos's zone, Zé Roberto Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Veloso came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
