Spectators: 6825 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Válter Faria got the match started through his kick off. Guga Valadares took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Prestes. Rodrigo Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Celsinho Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celsinho Mendonça came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Tomasina AD's Válter Faria. But to his dismay, Válter Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rodrigo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Valadares in the 17th minute of play. Marcel Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Celsinho Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Marinho in the 27th minute of play forced Torta's goalkeeper Celsinho Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasina AD's Rodrigo Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Valadares in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Torta booed when Tomasina AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Celsinho Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 35 minutes into the game, Zeca Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rodrigo Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Sanches during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Torta got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Sanches. In the 43rd minute, Zeca Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guga Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. Celsinho Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Faria in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Torta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Torta! The referee gave Tomasina AD a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elano Aguiar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Torta's Celsinho Mendonça. 2-2. Edvaldo Miranda struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rodrigo Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torta. 65 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Prestes. Edvaldo Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Válter Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Celsinho Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Torta's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Faria came free, but Celsinho Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter Faria struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Celsinho Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomasina AD. Rodrigo Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedito Sanches in the 81st minute. Zeca Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rodrigo Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Prestes made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Wilton Domingues sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Torta's Zeca Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fontes in the 91st minute of play. Ricardinho Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Marcel Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Celsinho Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Fontes in the 98th minute of play forced Tomasina AD's goalkeeper Rodrigo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Torta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tomasina AD.
