Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Caribe's Erivaldo Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Caribe from getting a goal against them. After having played for 9 minutes, Geraldo Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cláudio Tadeu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caribe's goalkeeper Erivaldo Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Coutinho having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Cesinha Freitas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erivaldo Barbosa, passed just outside the right post. In the 33rd minute Cesinha Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Caribe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geraldo Tepedino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cláudio Tadeu FC's Cesinha Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Cláudio Tadeu FC's Cesinha Freitas in the 44th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Erivaldo Barbosa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Caribe through an amazing save. Cesinha Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Pinho to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Caribe's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Mota came free, but Erivaldo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Cesinha Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erivaldo Barbosa having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Geraldo Tepedino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo Barbosa. Caribe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geraldo Tepedino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Roberto Mota during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Caribe's zone, Cesinha Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Barbosa came out of the goal and Cesinha Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesinha Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Barbosa having to interfere. Erivaldo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Geraldo Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Barbosa having to interfere. Cesinha Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Freitas in the 79th minute of play forced Caribe's goalkeeper Erivaldo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cesinha Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caribe's Erivaldo Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Freitas in the 85th minute of play forced Caribe's goalkeeper Erivaldo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caribe's Erivaldo Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Tepedino in the 92nd minute of play. Geraldo Tepedino scored 2-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erivaldo Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
