Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiago Gabriel Pombal kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ipoeira's zone, Tiago Gabriel Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Marques came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cacá Sena came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ipoeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cacá Sena couldn't finish the play. Renan Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Cacá Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Zeca Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Ipoeira. Adolfo Freitas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeca Leme. 3-2. In the 43rd minute, Ipoeira's Raí Silveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cacá Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Ipoeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
