Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cesinha Freitas got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Cláudio Tadeu FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jean Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Simão Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Cleiton Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cláudio Tadeu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itanhum SC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Cláudio Tadeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Prado. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Perez in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Coutinho saved Cláudio Tadeu FC from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Simão Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abelardo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Luís de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cláudio Tadeu FC and the Itanhum SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Simão Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Coutinho having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão Galvão during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itanhum SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Simão Galvão hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Simão Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Coutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abelardo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Itanhum SC's Gugu Zilles got a free kick in the 47th minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Galvão in the 54th minute of play forced Cláudio Tadeu FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Abelardo Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Coutinho. Cláudio Tadeu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Abelardo Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tadeu Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Renato Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes of play Cláudio Tadeu FC's Luís de Toledo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th match minute, Cláudio Tadeu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Cláudio Tadeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Mota. A hard shot by Nilton Vasconcelos from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Tadeu Coutinho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Cláudio Tadeu FC's Tadeu Coutinho got control of the ball when Abelardo Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cláudio Tadeu FC's zone, Gugu Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeu Coutinho came out of the goal and Gugu Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Benê Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itanhum SC played a much better game than Cláudio Tadeu FC and deserved their victory. The Cláudio Tadeu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
