Cristóvão Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Salgado having to interfere. When Jorge Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tronqueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Maciel couldn't finish the play. If Manuel Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Teles having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Magno Teles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jorge Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cristóvão Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Jupy SS's Bernardo Varela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Magno Teles. Magno Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Falcão to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Maciel in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Jupy SS's Bernardo Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magno Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Magno Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Carneiro in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tronqueira's zone, Luizinho Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magno Teles came out of the goal and Luizinho Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tronqueira's Magno Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Varela in the 57th minute of play. Jupy SS's Cristóvão Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Jupy SS from getting a goal against them. Pedrão Peixoto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jorge Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Salgado having to interfere. Cristóvão Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Falcão in the 69th minute of play. If Luizinho Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Falcão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristóvão Salgado. That made the score 1-1 in the 77 minute of play. Tronqueira's Magno Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Varela in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Luizinho Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Jupy SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tronqueira:s goal. In the 96th minute, Jorge Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Jupy SS's Sabino Vianna got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Jupy SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tronqueira's performance. The match ended with a win for Tronqueira.
