Dsb fc's Willian Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Dsb fc from getting a goal against them. Vicente Marquez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Dsb fc's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Macedo came free, but Willian Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Wilian Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dsb fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Schmidt in the 20th minute of play. Cesinha Macedos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Willian Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramón Favoretto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Cesinha Macedo from a close distance when the talented Willian Meireles managed to make a qualified save. Dsb fc's players were relieved. Cesinha Macedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Willian Meireles 28 minutes into the match. Cesinha Macedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Willian Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Pinheiro got free with Willian Meireles in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Dsb fc's zone, Cesinha Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willian Meireles came out of the goal and Cesinha Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesinha Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Dsb fc's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Baiano came free, but Willian Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cesinha Macedo sped through Dsb fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willian Meireles. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Cesinha Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Willian Meireles. Dsb fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Wilian Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vânderson Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Sarmento during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Liberteide FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Sarmento. In the 62nd minute Oséas Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Liberteide FC got a freekick which was hit by André Vander. Liberteide FC's Vânderson Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Favoretto in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesinha Macedo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willian Meireles saved Dsb fc from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Liberteide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Dsb fc got a freekick which was hit by Juarês da Cunha. Zé Carlos Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesinha Macedo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willian Meireles. Willian Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. If Ramón Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cesinha Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liberteide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Ramón Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Cesinha Macedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Willian Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Liberteide FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
