Nildo Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Víktor Quirino notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Furquim's Nildo Vides. Nildo Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Víktor Quirino struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nildo Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrugada do Terror FC. After a defensive mix-up in Furquim's zone, Víktor Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Vides came out of the goal and Víktor Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Marcelo Diniz made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Vides. Furquim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Víktor Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nildo Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nildo Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Romário Dionísio made the kick off in the second half. Nildo Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Dante in the 57th minute of the match. Erasmo Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Nildo Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erasmo Dante came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Madrugada do Terror FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Dante couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Christian Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madrugada do Terror FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Erasmo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nildo Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Christian Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nildo Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
