Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarbas Meireles made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paratudal SS's zone, Jarbas Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio Furlan came out of the goal and Jarbas Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisinho Mendes took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio Furlan. Luís Fábio Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Vânderson Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Braco getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jarbas Meireles hit a great ball. Jaime Sanches made a great header on Paratudal SS's corner, it was just that Braco's Roger Matos managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th minute Jarbas Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Jarbas Meireles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paratudal SS's Luís Fábio Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Matos came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paratudal SS's Aílton Carneiro. But to his dismay, Aílton Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Roger Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Carneiro in the 25th minute. Willian Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Roger Matos made a huge save. If Aílton Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Magno Saraiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fábio Furlan skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Meireles in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fábio Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Braco's Roger Matos got control of the ball when Aílton Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Mangueira in the 39th minute of play forced Braco's goalkeeper Roger Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Roger Matos made a huge save. With a little luck, Braco's Roger Matos got control of the ball when Aílton Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vânderson Mangueira to make the kick off. Luís Fábio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luisinho Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarbas Meireles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Luís Fábio Furlan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Vânderson Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Paratudal SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jarbas Meireles fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Braco's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Tinoco came free, but Roger Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jarbas Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Braco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Meireles couldn't finish the play. Roger Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Carneiro in the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Braco's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Tinoco came free, but Roger Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fábio Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Meireles's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Jarbas Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino de Queiroz lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute, one of Paratudal SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paratudal SS. Aílton Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Matos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aílton Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paratudal SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute, Vânderson Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braco's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
