Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Apore AD's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Mendes came free, but Arí Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Toninho Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Apore AD's Maurinho Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barandao's zone, Luís da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Lopes came out of the goal and Luís da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telmo Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurinho Ferraz went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Barandao's Erivaldo Mendes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Apore AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Pimenta having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Apore AD's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Mendes came free, but Arí Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arí Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erivaldo Mendes in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Apore AD's zone, Enio Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Pimenta came out of the goal and Enio Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arí Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Mello in the 55th minute of the match. Arí Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Mello in the 61st minute of play. Arí Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Barandao's Erivaldo Mendes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arí Pimenta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the game, Erivaldo Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arí Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the game, Vito Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apore AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barandao the free kick. In the 77th minute, Vito Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Apore AD booed when Barandao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Luís da Cunha put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Apore AD's Luís da Cunha got a free kick in the 88th minute. Enio Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Mello in the 94th minute of play forced Apore AD's goalkeeper Arí Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Erivaldo Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barandao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
