Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gustavo Hoffmann kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Veloso in the 7th minute of play forced Gaviões Indomáveis FC's goalkeeper Armando de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Passabem's zone, Cláudio Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Toscano came out of the goal and Cláudio Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dida Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Passabem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaviões Indomáveis FC the free kick. The supporters of Gaviões Indomáveis FC booed when Passabem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute José Carlos Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Toscano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cláudio Fernandez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Armando de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Passabem's Augusto Salgado. But to his dismay, Augusto Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Carlos Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Duarte Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Lira in the 38th minute of play forced Gaviões Indomáveis FC's goalkeeper Armando de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Carlos Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Armando de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Durvalino Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Gustavo Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustavo Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Paulão Lira made the kick off in the second half. Passabem's Dida Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Tasso in the 53rd minute of play. José Carlos Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Carlos Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Passabem's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Tasso came free, but Dida Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Toscano having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Tasso struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dida Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviões Indomáveis FC. If Gustavo Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Toscano having to interfere. Armando de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when José Carlos Maia sent off a good shot on target. Armando de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Lira in the 74th minute of the match. Armando de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Lira in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Paulão Lira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando de Carvalho. Paulão Lira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Tasso in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Passabem's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Fernandez came free, but Dida Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Toscano having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Passabem walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
