Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcos de Alcântara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tacanha SS's Elivélton Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Luverdense Esporte Clube's Manoel da Mata got control of the ball when Elivélton Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Dedê Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel da Mata having to interfere. Elivélton Ortiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Manoel da Mata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos de Alcântara in the 29th minute of play forced Tacanha SS's goalkeeper Paulão Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Tacanha SS's Elivélton Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manoel da Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Nilmar Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivélton Ortiz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel da Mata. Manoel da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Elivélton Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacanha SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Elivélton Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gil Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Elivélton Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luverdense Esporte Clube's Manoel da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil Paiva scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel da Mata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Luís Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Tacanha SS's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Quintal came free, but Paulão Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivélton Ortiz couldn't finish the play.
