Tomás Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Pajur in the 32nd minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Burhan Ramazanoğulları managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burhan Ramazanoğulları was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Itacurussu's Caco Fernandes in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Álvaro Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Viana in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Itacurussu's Jânio Cardoso got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Itacurussu booed when Alvacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Álvaro Vieira sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Viana hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match.
