Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haroldo Diniz kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Bandeira getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Cristian Albuquerque hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Caio Saldanha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Criciuma the free kick. In the 7th minute, one of Bandeira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bandeira. The referee gave Criciuma a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tadeu Magalhães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bandeira's Valdir da Costa. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri Diniz got free with Otávio Neiva in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Neiva having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Amadeu Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Criciuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Criciuma's Amadeu Koehler in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeira's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Criciuma booed when Bandeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Haroldo Diniz rounded Criciuma's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Amadeu Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Valdir da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Haroldo Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iuri Diniz in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Otávio Neiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iuri Diniz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Otávio Neiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 45th play minute Iuri Diniz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Otávio Neiva. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Koehler made a kick off. Otávio Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Criciuma got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano. If Amadeu Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Diniz struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Otávio Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandeira. When Arthur Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bandeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Godoi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo Diniz in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Diniz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Neiva saved Criciuma from getting behind. Dadá Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Diniz in the 71st minute of play forced Criciuma's goalkeeper Otávio Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iuri Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Diniz in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Neiva saved Criciuma from getting behind. After 95 minutes of play, Bandeira's Iuri Diniz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Neiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Bandeira were the better team. Bandeira's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
