Inácio Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Silveira having to interfere. A collision led to Heltai FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luizinho Peixoto hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Heltai FC's Luizinho Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fiori Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Aparecido went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fiori Silveira came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Heltai FC's Luizinho Peixoto. But to his dismay, Luizinho Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fiori Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Inácio Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fiori Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Percy Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Fiori Silveira. Canelinha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 42 minutes, Inácio Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heltai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fiori Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Donatello in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Inácio Donatello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fiori Silveira was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Luizinho Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizinho Peixoto came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fiori Silveira could save by the left post. Luizinho Peixoto let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 57th minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post. After some careless play in the Canelinha FC defense, Luizinho Peixoto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori Silveira. The Canelinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori Silveira should have stopped the shot. After 66 played minutes Heltai FC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Aparecido. Luizinho Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Fiori Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizinho Peixoto got free with Fiori Silveira in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Heltai FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Heltai FC's Luizinho Peixoto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute, Heltai FC's Luizinho Peixoto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fiori Silveira. Fiori Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Donatello in the 79th minute of play forced Canelinha FC's goalkeeper Fiori Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Sarmento hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Percy Sarmento's late challenge caught a Canelinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canelinha FC booed when Heltai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Inácio Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizinho Peixotos short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Fiori Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Edvaldo Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canelinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Luizinho Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Fiori Silveira made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Canelinha FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
