Spectators: 6414 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Natã da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Emerson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Faria in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Pojuquinhos's Gustavo Faria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emerson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Branco in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã da Fonseca got free with Josué Castro in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natã da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Faria in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Pojuquinhos's goalkeeper Josué Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã da Fonseca. Emerson de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chico Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Faria hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pojuquinhos's goalkeeper Josué Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Pongahy FC booed when Pojuquinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes, Humberto Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pojuquinhos and the Pongahy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Josué Castro made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Natã da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th match minute, Pongahy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Pongahy FC defense, Nildo Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson de Souza. The Pongahy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson de Souza should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Marco Branco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pongahy FC's Emerson de Souza. Emerson de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emerson de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo Massa in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Josué Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, César Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Pojuquinhos's Emerson de Souza threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco Branco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emerson de Souza was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Humberto Koehler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Koehler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 66th minute, Chico Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Pojuquinhos's zone, Rui Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Castro came out of the goal and Rui Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nildo Massa in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson de Souza saved Pongahy FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Branco during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pojuquinhos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marco Branco hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pojuquinhos's Gustavo Faria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emerson de Souza. That made the score 0-7 after 78 minutes of play. If Edmundo Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmundo Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pongahy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Rui Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Castro having to interfere. When Didi Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pojuquinhos's protests and gave Didi Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Pojuquinhos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pongahy FC:s goal. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Pongahy FC. Sebastião Motta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Josué Castro. 1-7. Nildo Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nildo Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Nildo Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pojuquinhos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
