Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Paraíba made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paraíba in the 3rd minute of play forced Catarina's goalkeeper Egídio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio de Brito having to interfere. If José Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the game, Calibres's José Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio de Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christiano Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio de Brito having to interfere. Lúcio Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paraíba in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio de Brito saved Catarina from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Calibres's goalkeeper Jonas Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Prado. In the 26th minute, Calibres's Cleiton Urbano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cleiton Urbano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Calibres protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cleiton Urbano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 28th minute Pedro Augusto Leão managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paraíba in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio de Brito saved Catarina from getting behind. The audience was convinced that José Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egídio de Brito was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Calibres's Jonas Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Calibres from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Guedes got free with Jonas Esteves in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Catarina's zone, Tomasz Frankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio de Brito came out of the goal and Tomasz Frankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. A hard shot by João Pedro Corrêa from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Jonas Esteves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Válbson Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Calibres's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Lucas came free, but Jonas Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calibres's Jonas Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Prado in the 60th minute of play. Egídio de Brito made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when José Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tomasz Frankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egídio de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. José Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Válbson Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Pedro Augusto Leão's late challenge caught a Calibres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Leão helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Augusto Leão hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calibres walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
