Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Senna kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Gernando Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felippe do Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reinaldo de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 minutes, Ivo Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gancho FC and the Catunda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivo Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Gancho FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Alves came free, but Felippe do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, João Pedro Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catunda's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeferson Prata struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Felippe do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catunda. After 19 minutes, João Pedro Alves made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gancho FC's Felippe do Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ivo Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gancho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Dalmo Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Alves in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Reinaldo de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catunda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jeferson Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Jeferson Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Catunda's Jeferson Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felippe do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Gino Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Felippe do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Felippe do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Jeferson Prata notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Gancho FC's Felippe do Nascimento. Felippe do Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Pedro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Felippe do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gancho FC's Felippe do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Alves in the 92nd minute of play. Jeferson Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Catunda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
