Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roger Hoffmann kicked off to start the match. José Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Chaves having to interfere. Ediberto Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio da Costa in the 8th minute of play. Zeca Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Hoffmann in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Hoffmann in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeca Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If José Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Netto made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Léo Alves sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio da Costa in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Vassouras's goalkeeper Ediberto Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Jarametais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Eger to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jarametais FC's Léo Alves got a free kick in the 30th minute. Roger Hoffmann took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeca Chaves. Zeca Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Zeca Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The supporters of Jarametais FC booed when FC Vassouras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When José Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Vassouras's protests and gave José Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Vassouras getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. José Tepedino hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tarcisio da Costa to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Válter Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, FC Vassouras's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Alves came free, but Ediberto Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Zé Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Vassouras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jarametais FC the free kick. Zé Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Roger Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Zeca Chaves made a huge save. Magno Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ediberto Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Jarametais FC. Daniel Oliveira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ediberto Netto. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Hoffmann got free with Zeca Chaves in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeca Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Tepedino in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Jarametais FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Oliveira. FC Vassouras's José Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, José Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediberto Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio da Costa in the 84th minute of play forced FC Vassouras's goalkeeper Ediberto Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Zeca Chaves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 87th minute of the match Cássio de Medeiros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ediberto Netto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Daniel Oliveira put in a rough tackle. In the 91st minute, one of Jarametais FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jarametais FC. 99 minutes into the match, FC Vassouras's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Alves came free, but Ediberto Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Vassouras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
