Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evaristo Furtado made the kick off which started today's match. Jefferson Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Zeca Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 6th minute when Evaristo Furtado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tarcisio da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jarametais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarcisio da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wanderson Quintal's late challenge caught a Jarametais FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Corujas SS got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Quintal. With his leg Zeca Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Corujas SS's Jefferson Ferraz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jefferson Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes Corujas SS got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Quintal. In the 24th minute, Tarcisio da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jefferson Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Alves in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Alves in the 28th minute of play forced Corujas SS's goalkeeper Jefferson Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeca Chaves made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jefferson Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Tarcisio da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Madureira having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarcisio da Costa made a kick off. Tomé Eger's late challenge caught a Corujas SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Eger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Corujas SS booed when Jarametais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomé Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jarametais FC's zone, Jefferson Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Chaves came out of the goal and Jefferson Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarcisio da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jefferson Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léo Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. Léo Alves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Jefferson Madureira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Corujas SS's Jefferson Madureira got control of the ball when Léo Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeca Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Furtado in the 72nd minute of play. Tarcisio da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Madureira having to interfere. Jefferson Madureira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Oliveira. When Corujas SS's Jefferson Ferraz in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jarametais FC's goalie prevented a goal. Corujas SS's Jefferson Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio da Costa in the 87th minute of play. Evaristo Furtado struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Zeca Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corujas SS. Zeca Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Ferraz went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corujas SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jarametais FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
