When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubinho Dracena made a kick off. Luiz Paulo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Dracena in the 73rd minute of the match. Vito Peixoto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Sydney Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Dominic in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Simão saved Currais SS from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Filiberto Dominic fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Filiberto Dominic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edu Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Lima hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Currais SS's Edu Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Dominic in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Currais SS had won after a very even match.
