Jaime Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Freitas having to make a save. Jaime Valles short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Silas Freitas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th minute Rômulo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Valle in the 15th minute. In the 16thth minute of the game Rômulo Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mentirosos SC's Betinho Zanette was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Rosado in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Rômulo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiaguinho Sabóia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Mentirosos SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Arassuahy SC booed when Mentirosos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silas Freitas. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Mentirosos SC's Luis Eduardo Ursov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silas Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jaime Valle took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silas Freitas. Silas Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rômulo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaime Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luis Eduardo Ursov came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mentirosos SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Eduardo Ursov couldn't finish the play. In the 65th match minute, Mentirosos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Tande to maneuver through the defense. Silas Freitas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Valle's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Nildo de Medeiros hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Mentirosos SC's Jaime Valle in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arassuahy SC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Arassuahy SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luciano Rosado hit a great ball. The Mentirosos SC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Mentirosos SC's Jaime Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arassuahy SC's goalkeeper Silas Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 顾骋真 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Freitas having to interfere. Jaime Valle struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Silas Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mentirosos SC. After a rather tough play, Mentirosos SC's Bruninho Tande got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jaime Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Freitas having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Marcos Ferraz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Arassuahy SC's Silas Freitas. Silas Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 97 minutes, 顾骋真 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mentirosos SC and the Arassuahy SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mentirosos SC fully deserved thier win.
