Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Mucui got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Souto. Arnaldo Maciel made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Amílton Santos sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldinho Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mucui booed when Real Floripa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Real Floripa's zone, Adolfo Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Loyola came out of the goal and Adolfo Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Real Floripa got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Romero. 14 minutes into the match, Amílton Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mucui's Arnaldo Maciel. Arnaldo Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17thth minute of the game Amadeu Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Floripa's Fábio Loyola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, José Carlos Ferraz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnaldo Maciel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Amadeu Mattos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fábio Loyola. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Arnaldo Maciel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Apostolos Karapitsios kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Real Floripa's José Carlos Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mucui's Arnaldo Maciel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Mucui from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Amadeu Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fábio Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Mattos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Mucui were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Carlos Ferraz to make the kick off. Mucui's Giovanni Mangueira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronaldinho Lopes in the 54 minute of the game. A hard shot 56 in the game by Amadeu Mattos from a close distance when the talented Fábio Loyola managed to make a qualified save. Real Floripa's players were relieved. Arnaldo Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Romero in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Nildo Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Arnaldo Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Real Floripa's zone, Amadeu Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Loyola came out of the goal and Amadeu Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Apostolos Karapitsios fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mucui's protests and gave Apostolos Karapitsios a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeu Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fábio Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Carlos Ferraz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Real Floripa got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Ferraz. Fábio Loyola came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mucui's Jerônimo Antunes. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 83 minutes into the game, José Carlos Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Arnaldo Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Apostolos Karapitsios put in a rough tackle. In the 87th match minute, Mucui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolos Karapitsios to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Valério Aguiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Maciel skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Mucui's Amadeu Mattos got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mucui players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
