Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pinhao FC's Ademir Carioca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ademir Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Arruda having to interfere. Igor Topolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Amílton Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Bertassi in the 9th minute of play forced Galos AD's goalkeeper Claudinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marcos de Toledo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galos AD's Claudinho Arruda. Claudinho Arruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramón Britto hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Carioca in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Arruda saved Galos AD from getting behind. Amílton Fernandez was a little too slow when Hélder Salles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Salles in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Fernandez saved Pinhao FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Dênis Vieira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amílton Fernandez. That made the score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Pinhao FC's Ademir Carioca made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinho Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Deivid Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galos AD's Claudinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Bertassi in the 32nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Hélder Salles put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Amílton Fernandez. In the 36th minute, Hélder Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amílton Fernandez. The goal made the score 4-2. In the 42nd minute Marcos de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hélder Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Galos AD's Igor Topolski got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílton Fernandez came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Galos AD's Igor Topolski. But to his dismay, Igor Topolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The Galos AD fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Galos AD's Hélder Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Salles in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Toledo in the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Salles in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Fernandez saved Pinhao FC from getting behind. The Galos AD fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Galos AD's Hélder Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dênis Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Amílton Fernandez came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galos AD's Dênis Vieira. But to his dismay, Dênis Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. The supporters of Pinhao FC booed when Galos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Mauro Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Salles in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Fernandez saved Pinhao FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galos AD had played much better football throughout.
