Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonçalo Vianna got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Galos AD booed when Cazuza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Queiroz in the 7th minute of play. Galos AD's Hélder Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Hélder Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cazuza FC's Magno de Sena got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Salles in the 13th minute of play forced Cazuza FC's goalkeeper Luizinho Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Salles in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho Saldanha saved Cazuza FC from getting behind. A collision led to Galos AD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gualter Moreira hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Cazuza FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno de Sena. Gonçalo Vianna's late challenge caught a Galos AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28thth minute of the game Hélder Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cazuza FC's Luizinho Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinho Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Moreira in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Salles in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute of the match, Hélder Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luizinho Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Vianna in the 35th minute of play forced Galos AD's goalkeeper Claudinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Galos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Queiroz came free, but Claudinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galos AD's Claudinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Vianna in the 40th minute of play. Hélder Salles in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luizinho Saldanha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 45 minutes into the game, Hélder Salles lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Luizinho Saldanha. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hélder Salles made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hélder Salles sped through Cazuza FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luizinho Saldanha. Hélder Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Saldanha having to interfere. When Gualter Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Galos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Moreira couldn't finish the play. Claudinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Vianna in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Galos AD's goalkeeper Claudinho Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wesley Moreira. Hélder Salles scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizinho Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Moreira got free with Claudinho Arruda in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hélder Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinho Arruda made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Wesley Moreira sent off a good shot on target. Magno de Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Claudinho Arruda made a huge save. Hélder Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Dênis Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizinho Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute of the match Wilton de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Arruda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Eugênio Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cazuza FC's Wesley Moreira got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Corrêa in the 88th minute of play forced Cazuza FC's goalkeeper Luizinho Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Hélder Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cazuza FC's Luizinho Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Galos AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
