Jorge Faustino kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Macao SS defense, Lenílson Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Paes. The Macao SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Paes should have stopped the shot. After 67 played minutes Macao SS got a freekick which was hit by Roberto da Rocha. 70 minutes into the game, Rogério Cearense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni Almeida. Rogério Cearense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, Macao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Guimarães came free, but Armindo Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Armindo Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson Queiroz during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clube Desportivo Candeias booed when Macao SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Clube Desportivo Candeias were the better team. Clube Desportivo Candeias's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
