Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Osmar Penha made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Mapixi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tião Leme hit a great ball. When Osmar Penha came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mapixi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Penha couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, Itatingui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Valladares to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Paulinho de Barros fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilvan Nóbrega, passed just outside the right post. In the 23rd minute of the match Dida Pires shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilmar Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clóvis Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Nóbrega having to interfere. If Paulinho de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes of play, Itatingui FC's Clóvis Veloso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilvan Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho de Barros in the 39th minute of play forced Mapixi's goalkeeper Gilvan Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Veloso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Gilvan Nóbrega when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilvan Nóbrega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulinho de Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho de Barros in the 51st minute of play forced Mapixi's goalkeeper Gilvan Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Mapixi got a freekick which was hit by Delfim de Barros. Paulinho de Barros struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gilvan Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itatingui FC. 55 minutes into the match, Mapixi's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Veloso came free, but Gilvan Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Clóvis Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilvan Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Veloso's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Paulinho de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Clóvis Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Nóbrega. Mapixi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gilvan Nóbrega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho de Barros's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Mapixi's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Veloso came free, but Gilvan Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 95th minute Paulinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gilvan Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Itatingui FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
