The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Winchester FC booed when Sirigado AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, Sirigado AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Laerte Custódio took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Bueno. Guto Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th minute, Armando Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Laerte Custódio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guto Bueno, 3-0. Laerte Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Bueno having to interfere. Bruno Marrone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho dos Santos in the 29th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Winchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Breno Britto. Celsinho de Amaral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sirigado AD's Guto Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sirigado AD from getting a goal against them. Albertinho da Costa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Breno Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Custódio in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Cosimo Bosso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosimo Bosso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Mota got free with Guto Bueno in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guto Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Marrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Laerte Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guto Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Custódio in the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Winchester FC's Cláudio Gaúcho got control of the ball when Zézinho Bastos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Zézinho Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirigado AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zézinho Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sirigado AD getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lenílson de Almeida hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laerte Custódio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guto Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Custódio in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Sirigado AD getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lenílson de Almeida hit a great ball. Breno Britto struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Guto Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winchester FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Mota in the 81st minute of play forced Sirigado AD's goalkeeper Guto Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Gaúcho having to interfere. Guto Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte Custódio's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Cosimo Bosso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Sirigado AD's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Mota came free, but Guto Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laerte Custódio scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Winchester FC were the better team. Winchester FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
