Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cafu Tande kicked off to start the match. Dênis Paraense came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugênio Antunes could save by the left post. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quatorze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gláuber Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time C.R Flamengo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gláuber Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugênio Antunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Gláuber Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quatorze booed when C.R Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Antunes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dênis Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.R Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugênio Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Dênis Paraense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.R Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eugênio Antunes came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.R Flamengo's Gláuber Rocha. But to his dismay, Gláuber Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, C.R Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Tande came free, but Sidney Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.R Flamengo's Dênis Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eugênio Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gláuber Rocha in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugênio Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gláuber Rocha in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugênio Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gláuber Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Eugênio Antunes made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Quatorze's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Severo came free, but Eugênio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes C.R Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Téo Cearense. In the 47th minute of the match Rogério Macedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidney Trigo skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Rocha made a kick off. Gláuber Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Antunes having to interfere. When Rogério Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quatorze's protests and gave Rogério Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. Rogério Macedo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Léo de Queirós hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Gláuber Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Quatorze got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Viana. Natanael Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eugênio Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Dênis Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugênio Antunes. Quatorze's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eugênio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gláuber Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.R Flamengo's Dênis Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dênis Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Antunes having to interfere. Gláuber Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugênio Antunes having to interfere. Gláuber Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sidney Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natanael Severo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Eugênio Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.R Flamengo. C.R Flamengo's Wilson Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
