Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murilo Favoretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leopoldo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Donato having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Rubinho Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tardelli Team and the Guariroba players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guariroba booed when Tardelli Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Tardelli Team got a freekick which was hit by Almir Aguiar. When Lúcio Severo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Guariroba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Severo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Guariroba's zone, José Pedro Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Simão came out of the goal and José Pedro Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Simão having to interfere. Lúcio Severo scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Paraibano's late challenge caught a Tardelli Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guariroba's Jonas Paraibano got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game Luís Fábio Paulista kicked a great long shot which passed Inácio Simão straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Luís Fábio Paulista behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Leopoldo Cruz put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eurico Donato. Jonas Paraibano was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Inácio Simão was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Murilo Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murilo Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Wilton Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guariroba's protests and gave Wilton Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, one of Guariroba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guariroba. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, José Pedro Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tardelli Team's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Simão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Pedro Furtado went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Almir Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Simão. Guariroba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fábio Paulista during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, one of Tardelli Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tardelli Team. Cristian Marquez shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Eurico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Severos short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Eurico Donato to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tardelli Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guariroba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
