Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Doni Capixaba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfredão Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Castro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo Lopez in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilton de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuno Barros's late challenge caught a Sobrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Salitre got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Barros. Naldo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Doni Capixaba rounded Sobrado's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 19th minute, Gernando Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilton de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nilton de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Lopez in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Salitre booed when Sobrado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Salitre's Allan de Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Doni Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Naldo Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salitre's Nilton de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilton de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredão Simões's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão Simões in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton de Castro saved Salitre from getting behind. The referee ignored Salitre's protests and gave Allan de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. When Naldo Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sobrado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Lopez couldn't finish the play. Naldo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Castro having to interfere. Salitre's Nilton de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Lopez in the 89th minute of play. Nuno Barros was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th match minute, Salitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Barros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Alfredão Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredão Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sobrado were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Salitre to leave the ground with a draw.
