Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Doni Capixaba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gilberto Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Faustino in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton de Castro saved Salitre from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Carin's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Capixaba came free, but Luiz Guilherme Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Carin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Esteves to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Gilberto Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Salitre got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Barros. Nilton de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Carin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Faustino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carin's zone, Claudinei Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Guilherme Mineiro came out of the goal and Claudinei Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Claudinei Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dino Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Naldo Faustino fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carin's protests and gave Naldo Faustino a yellow card for diving instead. Naldo Faustino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Elias de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carin's Gilberto Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Koehler struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nilton de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carin. Fabiano Esteves scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilton de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dino Moreira struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nilton de Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carin. 39 minutes into the match, Gilberto Koehler notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Salitre's Nilton de Castro. Nilton de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes, Gilberto Koehler made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Salitre's Nilton de Castro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilberto Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Castro having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Koehler made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Faustino in the 54th minute of play forced Salitre's goalkeeper Nilton de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Naldo Faustino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Salitre's Nilton de Castro. Nilton de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias de Amorim in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nilton de Castro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luiz Guilherme Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Machado in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Salitre's goalkeeper Nilton de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Faustino. Salitre's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Naldo Faustino 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salitre's goalkeeper Nilton de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match Carin got a corner. Salitre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horácio Leão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Horácio Leão made a great header on Carin's corner, it was just that Salitre's Nilton de Castro managed to reach the ball for a save. Salitre's Nilton de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Salitre from getting a goal against them. Nilton de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Koehler in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gilberto Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carin's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cafu de Moraes hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Gilberto Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elias de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Faustino in the 98th minute.
