Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Otávio Albuquerque kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Albuquerque in the 3rd minute of play forced Pessegueiro's goalkeeper Gernando Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pessegueiro's Gernando Loureiro got control of the ball when Otávio Albuquerque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lopes in the 7th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Lúcio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernando Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Abelardo Trigo sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Uere EC's Luiz Gustavo Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gernando Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joélson Melo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Albuquerque in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Uere EC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tarcisio Messias hit a great ball. Luiz Gustavo Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Soeiro got free with Gernando Loureiro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otávio Albuquerque got free with Gernando Loureiro in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Roberto Soeiro got free with Gernando Loureiro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luiz Gustavo Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Uere EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Andrade couldn't finish the play. After having played for 43 minutes, Otávio Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uere EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

53 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gernando Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otávio Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gernando Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Uere EC got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Messias. Zézinho Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Romero having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Andrade scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otávio Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Gernando Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uere EC. Luiz Gustavo Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Uere EC's Lúcio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Lopes in the 78th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Pessegueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Andrade came free, but Gernando Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uere EC had played much better football throughout.
