Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Håkan Jakobsson kicked off to start the match. Ulisses Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Martins during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Arapira FC got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Martins. In the 9th match minute, Arapira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Martins to maneuver through the defense. Davi Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Baptista in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernando Leon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Hernando Leon managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Areiopolis SS's Rubens Baptista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rubens Baptista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernando Leon came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubens Baptista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Rubens Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hernando Leon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arapira FC's Hernando Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Fernandez in the 27th minute of play. Hernando Leon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubens Baptista went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hernando Leon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeu Lopes in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Arapira FC's Olívio Abreu got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Jorginho da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Romeu Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernando Leon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubens Baptista was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Cesinha Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arapira FC's Hernando Leon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernando Leon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Hernando Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Baptista in the 59th minute of play. When Areiopolis SS's Rubens Baptista in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arapira FC's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Cesinha Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernando Leon. Arapira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesinha Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Areiopolis SS's Rubens Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernando Leon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hernando Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Baptista in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Areiopolis SS's Davi Leite got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Rubens Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areiopolis SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernando Leon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorginho da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernando Leon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernando Leon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Leite in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Rubens Baptista notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Arapira FC's Hernando Leon. Hernando Leon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arapira FC's Hernando Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Baptista in the 95th minute of play. Areiopolis SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
