Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Severo started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Soul Society defense, Robinho Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedrinho Senna. The Soul Society fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedrinho Senna should have stopped the shot. Toninho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Victor E. C fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Victor E. C's Filipe Quadros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Benjamin Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toninho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor E. C's Toninho Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Victor E. C from getting a goal against them. Toninho Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Severo in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Soul Society's zone, Magno Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Senna came out of the goal and Magno Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soul Society's Pedrinho Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Quadros in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Victor E. C's Filipe Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrinho Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Robinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Senna having to interfere. Pedrinho Senna came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Victor E. C's Filipe Quadros. But to his dismay, Filipe Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Quadros made a kick off. Filipe Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Quadross short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Pedrinho Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 56 minutes into the game, Guga Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soul Society's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Victor E. C the free kick. Guga Mello hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Soul Society's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Filipe Quadros scored to the left of an out of position Pedrinho Senna, making the score, 0-5. When Magno Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Victor E. C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Robinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Senna having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Soul Society got a freekick which was hit by Guga Mello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Severo in the 70th minute of play forced Victor E. C's goalkeeper Toninho Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Soul Society booed when Victor E. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor E. C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
