Dino de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nelsinho Palmeira hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Faustão Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Váldson Goiano in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cauan Sabóia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Faustão Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Araújo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Váldson Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino de Toledo was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Váldson Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Faustão Mazza made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmus's zone, Faustão Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino de Toledo came out of the goal and Faustão Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Faustão Mazza, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dino de Toledo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cauan Sabóia came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmus's Durval Ramalho. But to his dismay, Durval Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 65 minutes into the game, Geovanni Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosmus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belomonte the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Cosmus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Lira to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Durval Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Sabóia. Belomonte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Váldson Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Durval Ramalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cauan Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Joélson Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cosmus's Durval Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauan Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Váldson Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belomonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Paiva hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cauan Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Cauan Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Joélson Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cauan Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
