Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Correia started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Avahy's Wilton Lima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wilton Lima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Avahy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wilton Lima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Miroro. José Almeida stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Trigo. 0-1. Alberto Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Correia in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Branco in the 9th minute of play forced Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaká Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitório da Rocha in the 11th minute. A collision led to Miroro getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aílton Baptista hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Miroro's goalkeeper Kaká Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório da Rocha. 29 minutes into the game, Donato Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alberto Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Correia in the 35th minute of play forced Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Enéas Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miroro the free kick. A collision led to Avahy getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Enéas Jacinto hit a great ball. Alberto Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Alberto Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Branco in the 42nd minute of the match. Alberto Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Antunes in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Avahy's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Correia came free, but Alberto Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Antunes in the 47th minute of the match. The Avahy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miroro were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Branco in the 58th minute of play forced Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felippe Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Trigo having to interfere. Alberto Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Avahy's Vitório da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaká Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Correia. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miroro's goalkeeper Kaká Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitório da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Avahy got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Jacinto. The corner led Miroro's Aílton Baptista to fire away a dangerous shot which Alberto Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Vitório da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Avahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Queirós to maneuver through the defense. José Almeida hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Alberto Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Felippe Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Avahy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Miroro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
