Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aramina FC's Romeu Dionísio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Lobos da Noroeste got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Pinho. Cristiano Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luís Paraense having to make a save. In the 12th minute, one of Aramina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aramina FC. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Lobos da Noroeste's Fausto Donatello got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luiz Fernando Pitta. Betinho Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fernando Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Luan Alves could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Luiz Fernando Pitta however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Luís Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, Lobos da Noroeste's Luiz Fernando Pitta threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Betinho Paraibano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th match minute, Aramina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Lobos da Noroeste's Fausto Donatello tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Paraibano in the 42nd minute of play forced Aramina FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luiz Fernando Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Jacinto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luiz Fernando Pitta firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betinho Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Leandro Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aramina FC's Luiz Fernando Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Jacinto in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Leandro Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos da Noroeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Betinho Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Aramina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Alves came free, but Luiz Fernando Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aramina FC's zone, Leandro Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Pitta came out of the goal and Leandro Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Leandro Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Lobos da Noroeste's Betinho Paraibano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Pitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Betinho Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Pitta having to interfere. Leandro Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Luiz Fernando Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rony Coutinho during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Aramina FC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Coutinho. A collision led to Lobos da Noroeste getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mazinho Pena hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Cristiano Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aramina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Lobos da Noroeste players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
