Elder Félix struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Daniel Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Luzia FC. Daniel Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. Frederico Gerber hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The excitement rose when Santa Luzia FC's Nando Cordeiro after 27 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Olivenca's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-2. Haroldo Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Romero having to interfere. Daniel Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Adriana Lluis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Romero. Olivenca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriana Lluis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Elder Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Elder Félix made the kick off in the second half. Elder Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Romero having to make a save. Elder Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Haroldo Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Olivenca's zone, Elder Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Romero came out of the goal and Elder Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriana Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Santa Luzia FC's Elder Félix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Romero. Daniel Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Santa Luzia FC's Rômulo Alagoano was substituted for Haroldo Pitta. Santa Luzia FC made a substitution. Orlando de Queiroz replaced Fred Mazza. If Elder Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Santa Luzia FC booed when Olivenca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball.
