If 杜弘凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The nice shot from Mauro Trigo in the 36thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dida Simão had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Dida Simão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano da Cunha during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Araguaia S.C's Cristiano da Cunha got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mauro Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dida Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Peixoto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Anselmo Paraense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diogo Moreno struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Anselmo Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibirama FC. Lucas Peixoto was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 74 played minutes Ibirama FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Peixoto. If 杜弘凌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dida Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Trigo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Dida Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ibirama FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Araguaia S.C. Eriberto Cabral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dida Simão. 2-1. 93 minutes into the match, Araguaia S.C's Sandro Trancoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Ibirama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Trigo came free, but Dida Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
