Christiano Lima started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Raimundo Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th match minute, Tormenta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Lima to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Raimundo Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. T I A M A T's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan Gerber in the 13th minute of the match. Leonardo Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano Lima went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Raimundo Madureira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tormenta EC's Luiz Guilherme Magalhães. Luiz Guilherme Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Raimundo Cordeal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Guilherme Magalhães. Tormenta EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Cordeal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 3-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Raimundo Cordeal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Raimundo Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Fred Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Cordeal in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, T I A M A T's Afonso Ribeiro got a free kick in the 45th minute. Diamantino Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Abreu. T I A M A T's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Cordeal made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Raimundo Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinícius do Nascimento hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Sebastião Pinho got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Raimundo Cordeal. After 65 played minutes Tormenta EC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Guedes. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by T I A M A T's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diamantino Abreu was slow to take the kick. During this time Tormenta EC's players had a chance to rest. Raimundo Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Guilherme Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Cordeal's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Zeca Bertassi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Cordeal in the 89th minute of play forced Tormenta EC's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Gerber's late challenge caught a T I A M A T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilvan Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Gilvan Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Guilherme Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Cordeal in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, T I A M A T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Esteves to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Tormenta EC's Diamantino Abreu tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. T I A M A T had played much better football throughout.
