Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) IgorLopesFutebolClube's Valério Pimenta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, IgorLopesFutebolClube's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Antunes came free, but Amauri Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valério Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Benjamin's Diego Mesquita got a free kick in the 8th minute. Amauri Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Délio das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Antunes in the 19th minute of play forced IgorLopesFutebolClube's goalkeeper Amauri Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Armando Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amauri Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of IgorLopesFutebolClube booed when Benjamin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armando Antunes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Amauri Lopes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Amauri Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Antunes in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Antunes in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Délio das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amauri Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Armando Antunes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Antunes was the one to do the kick off. Amauri Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio das Neves in the 54th minute of play. If Délio das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Mesquita in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Délio das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benjamin's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Délio das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amauri Lopes having to make a save. After 69 played minutes IgorLopesFutebolClube got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Medeiros. Umberto Moreira, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Délio das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Benjamin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Délio das Neves couldn't finish the play. Valério Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the game, Teodoro Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IgorLopesFutebolClube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benjamin the free kick. A collision led to IgorLopesFutebolClube getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Teodoro Lira hit a great ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Armando Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benjamin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Délio das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Lopes having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Benjamin had played much better football throughout.
