Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chiquinho Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kiko Toscano scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 5th minute, Luís Gustavo Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Toscano in the 6th minute of play forced Acudinho's goalkeeper Guto Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acudinho's goalkeeper Guto Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Acudinho got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Vieira. The supporters of Ganso Maluco booed when Acudinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Ganso Maluco's Chiquinho Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guto Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Ganso Maluco's goalkeeper Clemente de Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Valle. In the 28th minute, Kiko Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Kiko Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Valle made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 31stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Clemente de Sena would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Guto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Enio Mello fired a really elegant long shot, but Clemente de Sena threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Marco Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente de Sena made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Marco Valle sent off a good shot on target. Kiko Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Guto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Aílton Recife made the kick off in the second half. Noel Mello struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Guto Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganso Maluco. In the 54th minute Marco Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Mello charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Mello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Ganso Maluco got a freekick which was hit by Noel Mello. During the 56th minute of the match Noel Mello completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Noel Mello a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, Noel Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aílton Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Acudinho getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Norberto Vieira hit a great ball. Clemente de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ganso Maluco's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Recife came free, but Clemente de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Toscano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Norberto Vieira took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente de Sena. Clemente de Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Acudinho's Mazinho França got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ganso Maluco's Romeu Meira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Acudinho. After having played for 76 minutes, Kiko Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ganso Maluco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ganso Maluco getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Victor Mendes hit a great ball. The supporters of Acudinho booed when Ganso Maluco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ganso Maluco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
