Spectators: 7209 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardo Porto started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Severino Faria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donatello Nogueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardo Porto scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donatello Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Donatello Nogueira made a huge save. Umberto Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Cerquilho's Gino Neiva got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute, Mihail Gheorghe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fiori da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cerquilho's Donatello Nogueira got control of the ball when Erasmo Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Real Matismo FC's Donatello Nogueira threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardo Porto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Umberto Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Loureiro in the 35th minute of play. Fiori da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Bernardo Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Donatello Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donatello Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Porto in the 68th minute of play. If Erasmo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Cerquilho got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Melo. The supporters of Real Matismo FC booed when Cerquilho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatello Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Porto in the 84th minute of the match. Cerquilho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
