Hermínio Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Arce in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Pereba SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jean da Mata hit a great ball. José Paulo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermínio Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Indaial booed when Pereba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edu Alagoano sped through Pereba SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermínio Arce. Giovanni Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Guerra having to interfere. Hermínio Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Linares in the 33rd minute of play. Tiago Gabriel do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Gabriel do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiago Gabriel do Nascimento hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edu Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With 73 minutes on the clock, Jean da Mata commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Pereba SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Indaial:s goal. Dalmo Zilles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Giovanni Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê Figueiredo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Guerra saved Indaial from getting behind. Dedê Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiaguinho Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Dedê Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho Guerra. Indaial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Indaial played a much better game than Pereba SS and deserved their victory. The Pereba SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
