Campo Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Luiz Eduardo Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Campo Verde FC's Oséias Gaspar got a free kick in the 26th minute. Guto Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Teles in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Campo Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar da Mata. In the 38th minute Gernando Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guto Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Eduardo Lopez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Gernando Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho Carvalho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Campo Verde FC's Gilmar da Mata got a free kick in the 68th minute. C.A. XII de Junho's Guto Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Bertassi in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. XII de Junho's Robinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cido Bertassi scored 2-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Motta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cido Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Guto Motta made a huge save. If Cido Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. XII de Junho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Gernando Teles scored to the left of an out of position Guto Motta, making the score, 2-5. Cido Bertassis short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Guto Motta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
